HOW I CAN HELP YOU.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

I can help you structure a path toward your goals based on your current abilities.

Working from the basics I will help you progress with the fundamental building blocks so that you can achieve any skill you desire while still staying healthy in body and mind.

CONTROL

Owning a Lamborghini isn’t a lot of fun if you don’t know how to drive it. Control is your ability to direct your body’s capabilities and have it respond like a finely-tuned machine to your needs and wishes.

Developing motor control is a lot like learning to write as a child. It requires patient repetition, and if you try to shortcut the work, you’ll always look sloppy.

STRENGTH

Everyone knows that strength is important.

It’s the motive force behind any dynamic display of athleticism – and those sexy muscles we all want to show off – but developing only some of your muscles at the expense of others can lead to injury or imbalances.

For real-world movement ability you can rely on, it’s important to develop strength in all directions and even in unusual positions.

PLAY

I believe that its essential to play.

As adults when were we told we weren’t allowed to play?

It’s the best form of stress relief and joy when you have the freedom to use your body as you wish without any fear or restrictions or injury.

FLEXIBILITY

You probably don’t need to be able to do the splits, but if you’re unable to get into a position you’d like, greater flexibility is needed. Fewer restrictions in your ranges of motion means you can move with grace and ease.

Though many people like arguing about the semantics of “flexibility” vs. “mobility,” the fact is that you need both if you want to perform at your best.

MINDFULNESS

Becoming more aware of the present moment can help us enjoy the world around us more and understand ourselves better.

When we become more aware of the present moment, we begin to experience afresh things that we have been taking for granted.
I’ll encourage you to pay attention to the internal experiences occurring in the present moment. When this transfers into your Movement practice you’ll be able to listen to the feedback your body gives you.

Healthy body. Healthy mind. Happy life.

Find out what your body is truly capable of.
Overcome any fear and replace it with confidence.

Passion for Movement

At the age of 35 I taught myself to balance on my hands. The learning process changed something deep within me and now I want to share this with the World. From the physical and mental health benefits to the joy and the playfulness we seem to have left behind as children.
Focusing on movement quality, flexibility, strength, control and mindfulness. We have one body to live in for the rest of our lives. Lets make it an enjoyable time and experience the true freedom of human movement.
